It snowed last Friday and I went out to capture a few images before the snow started to melt. It was not a winter wonderland. Only had 2 inches and it was not sticking very well to branches or foliage. I love texture and patterns. I purposely took this with diagnonal lines. I did a close up, not a true macro. I incrased the sharpness a lot to see more grain in the snow. I took in color but it looks black and white. If you look real close in the lower left corner you can see the toe of my Fashionista boot which does have some color. I used the healing brush to delete holes in the snow I did not like. This is an image you could play around with color variations and various filters.
